Creating circle art from my photos of natural and urban environments, I explore the amazing and unique colours and textures found all around us. In my work, I subtly challenge the notion of what is beautiful.
I studied Asian Studies and History at UWA in Perth. After moving to Canberra and 16 years in the Public service, I took a redundancy to follow my creative passion. I sell my work through my business Circa Art & Design.
Using the kaleidoscope technique, I take my carefully focused and curated photographs to create digital circles using computer graphics software. These images are printed using Giclee pigment inks to archival art paper.
